This months scrapbook club was an all day one. Haven't laughed so much in ages and as usual learnt a few things non-scrapping related, I'll say no more!
I spent the majority of the day working on my Project Life album. Got bored and then went onto 12x12 scrapbook pages. I only made two! I'm usually more productive! Both these layouts are "re-do's" of the original pages I just didn't like. My son will kill me if he finds out I've published the photo of him dressed up a as a girl!

May Stash Challenge 52CCT
This weeks 52 Christmas card Throwdown challenge is a stash one, Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed and Something Blue
I DO like a challenge so I had a quick rummage and came up with this lot:-
Old: A part used sheet of glittery snowflakes, years old!
New: The pack of paper doilies
Borrowed: Clearly Besotted stamp set (I must buy my own set!)
Blue: A ribbon remnant (also old!) as well as the card stock
So here's the finished card. Took minutes to make!

May Recipe Challenge - 52 CCT
This weeks challenge was to make a card using the following:-
Colour an outline image or sentiment, add rhinestones or ribbon and then deboss Using the negative side of an embossing folder) I picked my stamp set straight away, JOFY Merry & bright and stamped the images in Staz-On ink onto a tall & skinny crumb cake cardstock base. All going well so far....until I squeezed too hard on the watercolour paint brush and really messed it up! A flood of watery paint. About to throw it away and start again I decided to be positive .....it would be a happy accident instead so I washed the paint over the entire image and coloured in the stars with gold glittery Wink of Stella pen. Spritz with a marker pen. Mat onto a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock....oh dear, what about the debossing! Quick, think, so I kind of got round that part of the challenge by scoring lines around the edge! Popped on a button, gold elastic thread and rhinestones. I actually quite like the end result......for a disaster!

May Scrap Club
This month we are using papers from the Kaisercraft Botanical Odyssey collection plus a pack of die cut shapes......here's my two pages.
I've added a couple of doilies from my own stash, they were the perfect colour to match the papers. The paper was too lovely to cut up so I simply trimmed off the edges and mounted onto a sheet of cardstock. Die cut butterflies from the pack supplied in a diagonal sweep, accented with glitter, some words and paper curls
For this page I cut the sheet "Lattice" paper (bracketed shape) in half and used one half to trace onto the "Journey" sheet of paper. Both pieces adhered onto card stock. Again, embellishments are mainly the die cuts from the pack and I've added some of my own flowers, brads and clay bird/nest.

Card in a Box
Well they are everywhere so I just had to do one!
I've used about 9 dies/punches and various Stampin Up Flower stamps. It really was fun to make!

May Colour Challenge at 52CCT
Its so nice being back joining in the the challenges at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown! This week its a colour challenge:-
You have to use a minimum of three colours, so I picked Blushing Bride, Pear Pizazz and Raspberry Ripple Stampin Up ink pads and card stock. The stamp I've used is from Clearly Besotted "Holiday Sentiments". I've stamped in the three colours then matted to form a block. Gold embossed a swirl at the top, a punched border at the bottom some gold elastic thread wrapped around and tied into a bow.

May Sketch Challenge
Over at 52 Christmas Card Challenge we have started a new month with a new set of challenges. This week its a sketch. Feels strange getting back to checking their blog after being their guest designer for April and having a month"off"!!
Here's my card. My idea immediately popped into my head...bunting.
The sentiment is from Penny Black Christmas Cheer set stamped on white card and matted using Stampin Up's Deco Labels framelits and Pool Party cardstock. The bunting stamped again in Pool Party using Banner Blast stamp and punch. A few weeny white circles for snow!
