CASEing for Christmas

The card this week we are CASEing for Christmas is one of Mynns! Come on over to join in and see the other ladies fabulous cards!

I loved Mynns rich red, black and kraft colour scheme so I decided to use the same colour combination for my simple card. A kraft base card, a simple square panel with a stamped poinsettia (Clearly Besotted stamps). A few sequins and gold stickles to add some sparkle. I was going to add a teeny weeny tag but decided not to. Keep it simple!

I hope you join in with our challenge....be ahead this Christmas!

CASEing for Christmas

This week the card to case was made by Donna. Gorgeous card!Check out the challenge blog here.

I decided to make my card using NO stamps and to keep it clean using the same kind of colour scheme.Gold printed vellum behind the circular window, a gold bow and sequins and the sentiment is a rub on.

Scrapbook Pages

Two pages from two kits for Aprils scrapbook club.

First we have Kaisercrafts "Mix & Match" collection. A mix of red, white and kraft papers, sticker alpha sheet and a pack of tags. I've added some red sequins and some ribbon

Second page is again Kaisercraft but the collection is called "Something Blue" and although "weddingy" is not so much so that the papers cant be used for anything! So don't think it can only suit wedding photos although I have used a photo of my In-Laws wedding.

The colours are black, white, a pale mint green, kraft and a beige. I've made the rosette flowers from the patterned paperm used a few of my own plus added some ribbon.

House of Cards - April Challenge

Another month whizzes by! This months challenge is to make a card with butterflies and/or the following colour scheme.

I decided not to use butterflies. I use them al the time. So I stuck to the colour scheme and made a masculine card, perhaps for a teenage boy.

The background card has been stamped using Turquoise ink and the Off the Grid stamp set by Stampin Up then over stamped in yellow using Gorgeous Grunge set again from Stampin Up. SU On Film Framelits to cut the black frame, layered and a "boyey"paperclip and sequins to finish off.

House of Cards - March Challenge

The design team this month have been challenged to use enamel dots on their cards. I have in the past tried to make my ow but failed miserably. Have a look at our challenge blog as we have some great tutorials on making your own!

So here's my card. Not a very inventive use of enamel dots so I apologise!! Stampin up Cupcake Party, Heidi Swapp resist paper "banner" which I inked in yellow/turquoise to match the papers and a big Hello greeting. A few enamel dots as embellishment.

Scrapbook- January

Three pages from me this month. What did I like most from the K & Co Flora & Fauna kit? The pretty, delicate flowers (you get four - Turquoise, Brown, yellow and Lilac) and the printed vellum paper. I added my own paper flowers, pearls, stickles, bit of ribbon, washi tape and a doily.

House of Cards

Welcome back to a brand new year of House of Cards challenges and I'm pleased to be part of the Design Team again.

So to kick off the new year the challenge is a lovely colour scheme and/or use of glitter.

I've only used a bit of stampin Up silver glitter paper on my card and its also sprayed with glimmer spray which doesn't show up. Stamp set used is SU Kinda Eclectic and I just used the blue and silver from the colour scheme:- Lost Lagoon, Soft Sky and Pool Party.
