One of my crafty groups is coming tomorrow to make some cards and the brief was "Valentines but not if they dont want to" LOL ( plus a "mans" card ). Anyway, seeing as it IS valentines day on Friday I've made this card which they can alter to suit an all occasion card should they wish! Neither card is stuck down properly as I have to show them both options.

One of my ladies husband has Alzheimers and she told us that she has always given him a valentines card regardless of the fact that he is ill but she has never had one from him . I felt quite sad for her so she is going to get a card this year even if its from me!!! She'll know it cant possibly be from him and I hope I've done the right thing!
These are both beautiful and I'd have to make both!I'm sure the lady will appreciate your gesture of a card-it's always nice to know someone's thought about you.

ReplyDeleteThe black and white cards are super stylish! I'm not a heart-type therefore I like the first one a tad better. But the way you positioned the quote on top of the ribbon in the second one is worth remembering :-)
