My lovely funny friend Lorraine came over last week and we made some cards together. Always a laugh!
Here they are, nice and simple:-

Catching up with 52 CCT
I have a lot of catching up to do after my holiday in America! I have missed three of the August challenges on 52 Christmas Card Throwdown! Determined to see it through to the end (!) I made four cards this morning. I know three are past challenges but I just had to do them!
Only having an hour to spare before going out I decided to only use two designs and quick, clean and simple cards. I am now up to date with 52CCT!
First up is this weeks current challenge:-
While on holiday I bought some stash from Papertrey Ink. Its so expensive to have delivered to the UK so I took the opportunity and had a parcel sent to the villa (it would be silly not to!) So I just had to use the die!
Using the same card design for the colour challenge of Silver & Gold, White & Cream:-
Then I decided to make small square cards for the next two challenges.

August House of Cards Challenge!
This month the House of Cards challenge is a sketch. I always start of with the sketch in mind and it ends up looking different to what I originally had in my head! I just dont like to do the obvious!
So here's my card for the Design Team. the centre panel is a brushed gold card stock and very subtle. I think it goes well with the pink and cream without being to lary! I tore patterned paper from my Bo Bunny Vintage Lace pack (still my fave) and layered them onto the front to emanate the stripes in the sketch (just about!) The sentiment motif is Papertrey Ink.
